Meregon was one of the first students to enroll at the Vancouver Circus School, back in 2005. At the time, she was also finishing her degree in criminology at Simon Fraser University, having set her sights on law school. Though, not long after her introduction to Aerial Arts, Meregon made a drastic change in career paths by deciding against law school, in order to pursue circus arts, and hasn’t looked back since. She loves that the circus provides a space for people to push their limitations and achieve the “impossible”.
Meregon holds her NCCP level 1 Trampoline certification and additionally has worked to help create the Vancouver Circus School’s in house Aerial Silks training program. In addition to being the Vancouver Circus School’s Aerial Silks department head, Meregon also coaches for the school’s Ring Master program, and is a resident performer for its professional division, the Inner Ring Circus.
