Instructed Open Training
New for summer, our Instructed Open Training will run Fridays in July and every weekday in August! Come and train at the school from 4PM-8PM with access to all equipment – including the trampoline! Our instructors on site will provide support, tips, and suggestions as you work on your skills. This open training time is open to anyone 19+ and any current VCS student 13-18 years old. Registration is done at VCS on-siite.
Aerial Silk
Learn to climb, wrap, and pose on fabric suspended from the ceiling in this elegant and powerful class. Aerial silks build strength, flexibility, and body awareness as you progress through fundamental skills and sequences. Instructors provide safe, supportive guidance for all experience levels. Whether you’re new or returning, you’ll gain confidence and discover the joy of flying.
Aerials Hoop & Trapeze
Explore two classic aerial apparatuses: the circular hoop (lyra) or the static trapeze. This class blends strength and grace as you learn poses, spins, and transitions in the air. With expert instruction, you’ll build solid technique and creative flow. Open to all levels, from beginners to seasoned aerialists.
Aerial Straps
Build serious strength and control on this dynamic apparatus. You’ll learn foundational techniques like meathooks, beats, and inversions. Please note that previous aerial experience is required. Current VCS students need instructor approval and new students must submit a demo video to
Chinese Pole
Climb, slide, and hold impressive poses on a vertical pole in this strength-focused class. You’ll learn safe grip techniques and dynamic movements with guidance from skilled instructors. Chinese pole challenges your full body and builds endurance, coordination, and power. Great for beginners or experienced circus artists looking for something new.
Choreo Silks / Hoop
Learn a choreographed routine in silks or hoop over this 6-week intensive, ending with a group showcase during class. Previous silks or hoop experience is required. Routines will be tailored to your level.
Circus HIIT
A high-energy workout using unique circus equipment. Build strength, agility, and endurance in a fun, full-body circuit class.
Duo Trapeze
Partner up to learn shared skills and doubles tricks on static trapeze. Build trust, strength, and timing together. Signing up with a partner is recommended but not required.
Everything Circus
This high-energy class introduces you to a wide variety of circus skills, including aerials, trampoline, juggling, tumbling, and balance props. It’s a fun, all-in-one experience designed for curious beginners and enthusiastic movers. You’ll build coordination, confidence, and creativity with every class.
Foot Juggling
Discover the art of spinning and flipping objects with your feet in this playful and challenging class. You’ll build timing, coordination, and lower-body control using props like balls and cylinders. This unique skill is fun, rhythmic, and surprisingly meditative. No experience needed — just come ready to try something different!
Handstands
Master the art of balancing upside down with focused handstand training. You’ll learn proper alignment, strength drills, and balance techniques suited to your level. This class builds confidence, core control, and body awareness. Whether you’re a beginner or leveling up, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
Trampoline
Bounce, twist, and flip while learning trampoline fundamentals in a safe, structured environment. This class improves coordination, spatial awareness, and core strength through progressive skills. Suitable for all levels, from first-timers to acrobatic jumpers. Come defy gravity and have fun in the air!
Tumbling
Roll, flip, and fly across the floor in this high-energy acrobatic class. You’ll learn skills like cartwheels, backbends, and handsprings with proper technique and form. Tumbling helps build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Perfect for all levels, whether you’re just starting out or refining your tricks.
